Rebecca Redman Walsh

Rebecca is a dedicated Disability Advocate and leader. Rececca has extensive experience in the disability and community services sector. She began her career after leaving school, working as a Support Worker before progressing into Local Area Coordination, where she supported people with disability to access services and achieve their goals.

Rebecca has completed a Certificate IV in Disability and a Diploma of Community Services, providing her with a strong foundation in person-centred practice, advocacy, and community engagement.

In 2026, Rebecca successfully completed the I-LEAD Women in Community Services Program through Tasmanian Leaders, further strengthening her leadership skills and commitment to driving positive change within the community services sector.

Drawing on her practical experience and professional qualifications, Rebecca is passionate about upholding the rights of people with disability, promoting self-advocacy, and ensuring individuals have a strong voice in decisions that affect their lives. Her work is guided by a commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and social justice.
