Georgie Swanson

Georgie is a Disability Advocate who is passionate about fairness, inclusion, and human rights.

Georgie has five years experience in Community Services including as a Support Worker and as a Disability Employment Consultant. These roles have helped her understand the different challenges people can face in everyday life, develop meaningful connections with people from all walks of life, and understand the barriers that can impact participation and independence.

Through her work, Georgie has learned how to listen, communicate clearly, and support people to reach their goals. Her experience has given her the skills and knowledge to help people understand their rights, speak up for themselves, and have their voices heard.

Georgie believes everyone should be treated with respect, have equal opportunities, and be included in their community.
